Principals

The primary role of the principal is to direct and manage the instructional program, as well as supervise operations at the campus level.  In addition, the principal will provide instructional leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service, direct the implementation of District policies and instructional programs, and manage the operation of all campus activities. 
Minimum qualifications include:

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas Administrator's Certificate
• Prior experience in instructional leadership roles
• At least three (3) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher

Assistant Principals

The primary role of the assistant principal is to assist the campus principal with the administration of campus instructional program(s), and daily operations.
Minimum qualifications include:

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas Administrator's Certificate
• At least three (3) years' successful experience as a classroom teacher

Central Office Staff

Paraprofessionals & Support Staff

Bus drivers, cafeteria employees, painters, plumbers, secretaries and more all have a role in making sure all Longhorns have the best school experience possible.  

We are looking for Guest Teachers to educate, empower and inspire our learners.  Guest Teachers play an important role in improving academic achievement. In addition, substitute teaching provides an opportunity to gain experience and see first-hand what it takes to be a successful teacher in Cedar Hill ISD.
