Longhorn Campus Leaders
If you would like to work in a school district that is innovative, diverse and focused on unlocking every Longhorn’s potential, then consider the Cedar Hill Independent School District. CHISD is home to the Longhorns and serves more than 7,600 scholars in southern Dallas county.
Principals
The primary role of the principal is to direct and manage the instructional program, as well as supervise operations at the campus level. In addition, the principal will provide instructional leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service, direct the implementation of District policies and instructional programs, and manage the operation of all campus activities.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Administrator's Certificate
- Prior experience in instructional leadership roles
- At least three (3) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher
Assistant Principals
The primary role of the assistant principal is to assist the campus principal with the administration of campus instructional program(s), and daily operations.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Administrator's Certificate
- At least three (3) years' successful experience as a classroom teacher

Central Office Staff
